It appears that Sony simply reduced the price of the 60GB PS3 so they could clear them out. Apparently NO more will be made after the current inventory sells out in the next month or two. After that the only available version will be the new 80GB 599.00 model with Motorstorm (included). I am sorry, but regardless of what this does for Sony's losses it suck ASS. I thought Sony was actually attempting to gain some market-share especially since Konami is threatening to take MGS4 multi-platform but nothing has really changed at Sony, they are still completely clueless. :( Microsoft and Nintendo should no longer worry about Sony as they lack the competence to Win the WAR.
